Early Childhood

Temple Etz Chaim is committed to helping families with young children find a supportive Jewish community and a place to connect with other families raising Jewish children. The Early Childhood Group designs it’s programing for children up to age 6 and their families. We are open to both Temple Etz Chaim members and non-members. Our goal is to introduce Judaism to our youngest children through hands-on experiences, stories and fun. For information contact Margot Rivelis or Candace Lyons at earlychildhood@temple-etzchaim.org

We have a variety of different types of Early Childhood Programs

  • Mazel Tots – We introduce the concept of Shabbat through stories, songs and prayer. This 30-minute Saturday morning program is just right for our little ones.
  • Theme-Focused Events – These events are geared towards families with young children and are open to all families in the community. PJ Havdalah, Hanukkah Party, Children’s Model Passover Seder and Purim Carnival is to name a few.

Noah’s Ark Visits the Capron Zoom

Our Early Childhood group enjoyed an afternoon at the Capron Zoo as we listened to a story, sang a song and learned a bit about Noah’s Ark. Then we explored the zoo together.
