Join Temple Etz Chaim at the Capron Park Zoo on Sunday, November 3 in Attleboro as we learn about Noah’s Ark.
We’ll start our morning with a story, song and snack and learn about Noah and all his animals and then enjoy walking around the zoo.

Event is free and open to children up to age 6 and their families.

Join CJP, JCRC of Greater Boston, the IAC, and the Consulate General of Israel to New England to commemorate the one-year anniversary.
This is a free event but tickets are required. IDs will be checked.

Amid ongoing heartache and devastation, CJP — alongside the Jewish Community Relations Council of Greater Boston, the Israeli-American Council (IAC), and synagogues and partners across Greater Boston — invites you and our entire community to commemorate the first anniversary of October 7 together.

The traumas of this past year have impacted each one of us differently and we don’t know what will unfold between now, October 7, and even beyond. But this evening will give us the opportunity to be with one another, and to grieve as a community. The event will feature stories from those most directly affected on or by October 7, music to heal our souls, inspiring speakers to remind us of the resilient spirit of Israel and Israelis, and opportunities to mourn, honor survivors and heroes, and fill one another with strength and hope for our collective future.

This event is open to all ages, but some material may be difficult for young children and all content will be geared toward adults. For tickets and further information, please visit:

Community Break Fast

Each year, we join together as a community to break the fast on Yom Kippur and to welcome the New Year. Please help us make this year’s celebration delicious!

Drop off is Saturday, October 12th at FUSF (First Universalist Society of Franklin) any time between 1:30 and 4:30 pm. If you’d like to donate, but cannot join us for break fast, please contact Margot Rivelis to make alternate arrangements. This is a dairy meal, so please, no meat products!

We will start the evening with a havdalah service, enjoy a meal of soup, salad, breads and desserts provided by the Sisterhood board then nourish our soul by learning about how we can help the women and children at the Bay State Shelter through the group, Norfolk Strong Welcome Wagon.

Join us for a song and dance filled Simchat Torah service when we finish reading the Torah and begin it all over again. We start the evening with Consecration, a short ceremony for our new Religious School students taking the first steps on their Jewish educational journey. We also recognize our B’nai Mitzvah students as they stand near their parsha in the unrolled Torah scroll. This is a special evening for the younger members of our community and a meaningful moment for our entire congregation.

This is a great opportunity to spend time with Rabbi Rachel if you haven’t done so already and meet new and old friends. We will shake the lulav and enjoy a cup of apple cider, freshly baked cider donuts, bagels and cream cheese in our sukkah.
