A consortium of our sister congregations have been badly affected by Hurricane Ian. The most urgent need is for gift cards, especially general Visa gift cards. These will make it possible for those in need to meet their basic requirements. Cards can be sent to:

The Franklin Interfaith Council is collecting donations for the Franklin Food Pantry’s Thanksgiving meal.  Each member house of worship is asked to collect a different item. This year, Temple Etz Chaim has been asked to donate canned corn. Donations may be dropped off at the Temple building.

Donations may also be made directly to the Franklin Food Pantry via their Amazon Wishlist.

At Temple Etz Chaim of Franklin’s Sisterhood event: Soup, Salad, & Soul in the Sukkah, Mary Diehl shared info about the Afghan family that has been settled in Franklin. Mary is part of the Franklin Neighborhood Support Team supporting the family.
