All are welcome to attend our services. Non-members will need to request an invitation. Please share the invitation request form with your family and friends. There is no charge for anyone to join us for High Holy Days. However, a contribution is always gratefully appreciated.

Temple Etz Chaim will not be holding services on Day 2 of Rosh Hashanah. If you are interested in attending a service on the second day of Rosh Hashanah, please reach out to Rabbi Rachel who can make recommendations.
Each year, we join together as a community to break the fast on Yom Kippur and to welcome the New Year. Please help us make this year’s celebration delicious! We are requesting contributions for our meal. You may drop off items to the First Universalist Society of Franklin any time between 1:30 and 4:30 on Monday, September 21st.
If you’d like to donate, but cannot join us for break fast, please contact Margot Rivelis to make alternate arrangements.
Please note, this is a dairy meal, so please, no meat products!

Join Temple Etz Chaim Sisterhood for an evening of soup, salad, and Jewish inspiration! Enjoy homemade soups, salads, and breads in the sukkah, while learning about the YES Fund (Youth, Education and Special Projects) of Women of Reform Judaism and the impact it has on Jewish communities.
Join us for a nature walk. Breath in the fresh air, enjoy the foliage, get your steps in. Whatever the reason… let’s go. We will meet at the Southern New England Trunkline Trailhead (SNETT) located at 234 Grove Street in Franklin, at 11:45 am.
Our hike will begin promptly at 12:00 pm.
In case of rain, this event will be cancelled. Final decision will be made by 10:00 am that morning.

Mah Jongg & Knitting Gatherings Looking for a fun way to connect with other Temple Etz Chaim members? Join us each month for Mah Jongg and/or Knitting! These are casual gatherings, not classes or lessons. They’re simply an opportunity to spend time together, enjoy a favorite activity, and get to know other members of our temple community.
Mah Jongg: 1:00–3:00 p.m.
Knitting: 3:00–5:00 p.m.
You’re welcome to participate in one or both gatherings. No experience or expertise is required, just come ready to play, knit, chat, and connect! These gatherings are open to Temple Etz Chaim members only and are a wonderful way to build community and make new connections within our temple.
We’ll send out a Sign-Up Genius each month to those who are interested. If you’d like to be added to the list and receive information about upcoming dates, please let us know!
